How does voice input work?
Simply tap the microphone and say something like "Add expense for lunch $15" or "I spent $20 on gas". PennyTalk uses on-device voice recognition to convert your speech to text, then AI extracts the amount, category, and date. Voice recordings never leave your device.
What happens after the 7-day trial?
You can continue using core features (voice input, manual entry, dashboard) forever. Pro features (charts, PDF reports, CSV export) require a one-time purchase of $9.99. No subscriptions!
Does PennyTalk require an internet connection?
No! PennyTalk works completely offline. Voice recognition and all features run on your device. Your data never leaves your phone.
Which languages does voice input support?
Currently, PennyTalk recognizes English audio only. We're working on adding more languages in future updates.
Can I export my data?
Yes! Pro users can export data to CSV files from Settings. This is perfect for backing up your data or importing it on a new device.
Is my financial data private?
Absolutely. PennyTalk stores all data locally on your device. No cloud uploads, no tracking, no analytics. Your financial information stays with you.
